Hi stock bull re: 'It seems like yesterday that Kemble was ranting, "Someday Dell will own it all". Those were the good old days.' Just for kicks I went back a few years, to Sept/Oct 2005. Oldtrader5 was carrying on with his buy recommendation with Dell at 36 and ranting about his profit bookings for 32 clients back in 2001. Not that his call was any worse than many from high profile analysts !! I met Kemble twice, years ago, while mountain biking up in his neck of the woods near New Paltz, NY. He welcomed me into his home, and we had a great lunch. He is a kind hearted gentleman. Despite his unyielding love for Dell, by the time I met him he had sold off most of his Dell for a very pretty profit. Still, its difficult to fall out of love with a company that made you so much money !! I'd love to hear his 'analysis' regarding HPQ and DELL's recent earnings.... Happy Thanksgiving !! Cheers,
