100% safe. Virtually all economists that are not nut ideologically driven would say that you can't spend 100's of billions of dollars without creating lots of jobs. Your argument about fear of taxes or whatever is specious at best.

Most would agree that when you spend billions you'll create some jobs, but the cost-per-job can be a problem (and apparently has been with this "stimulus").

More importantly, as Tim pointed out, a lot of employers who are watching Obama's economic blunders are AFRAID to hire anyone. They're getting by with fewer people.

If you doubt this, ask Steve Wynn or any other corporate executive in Las Vegas. Talk to the state hospital associations, where job cuts and hiring freezes are rapidly spreading due solely to Obama policy -- lines in ERs in MN are out of control because of staffing issues. These are organizations that are cutting jobs DIRECTLY BECAUSE OF OBAMA'S POLICY. And they're everywhere.

So for you to claim it is a "specious" argument is, itself, "specious".
