I don't think the earth considers us relevant, atall. I think you are 100% correct. Long after man is extinct the world will still be here, climate will still be changing, species will still be going extinct, etc. We humans are but a pimple on the ass of the universe. It is just arrogance and a race for riches to think we are impacting the weather.
