Annualize that and forecast out 10 years based on a 100K troop level and you get $635B.

Even combined with our previous spending in Afghanistan that doesn't get us to a trillion dollars, and your statement was about a trillion in the future not a trillion total. Also 10 years at 100k troop level is unlikely.

As for " We've already spent $944B on Iraq and Afghanistan.". Spending in Iraq isn't spending in Afghanistan. Past spending isn't future spending.
