This past summer was very bleak. Sales just fell off of a cliff. I had zero new sales for the months of July, August September. Same thing for our other sales guy. Our company was pretty much on life support. October was excellent and November has been very good. My pipeline through March is very strong as well. But, chickens, eggs, hatching.......

My company may hire one or two people with the sole purpose of making ourselves more acquirable. There is zero chance that the management will take any risks at this point. I wouldn't call my job saved.

The good news is that my base salary was cut in half in October, but at the same time they doubled my commission. Just in time for my big sales....

but if sales drop off again, I dont' have a base salary to fall back on now, so it's still very dicey.

Wonder if those wind turbine factory workers want to get a job at the buggy whip company down the road. I hear that there is a resurgence in that market.

That's the thing, all of this artificial stimulation is just going to prop up businesses that shouldn't be in business. They will ramp up their facilities and then when the money stops they will not be able to sustain operations. Yet another bubble will pop.

My plan is to take the money and run.
