Xecom Announces Management Change At Select Switch
Subsidiary

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif., Sept. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Mr. Joseph Vigliarolo, President of Xecom
(NNOTC BULLETIN BOARD: XECM), announced that Alan King, President of Select Switch
Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Xecom Corp. has been replaced by Messrs. Dennis R.
Casey and Richard Pryor.

Mr. Casey has 40 years of telecommunications experience, 25 of those 40 years as Vice President
of Marketing for GTE's Corporate Telephone Operations, and has founded two public
telecommunications companies, specializing in long distance call processing.

Mr. Pryor, a former Air Force General, has had 30 years experience in telecommunications as CEO
for ITT WorldCom and COO of Interdigital Corporation. Mr. Pryor also served as an executive
vice president at EDS Communications Corporation, where he was responsible for international
communication networks.

Both Mr. Casey and Mr. Pryor will report to Mr. Vigliarolo and will focus primarily on issues
relating to the performance of the company's AAFES contract. Management now feels that they can
cut the operating costs which should increase profits earlier than expected.

With the sale of SelectTel, Mr. Bill Davis resigned from the Board, but will continue to assist if
necessary. SOURCE Xecom Corporation
