As said in prior post,I think Rockwell is right re:what market craves, compared to cable, etc. Now Q is, what is Coms/Robot gonna do. I am sure, in fact I have read, that they are working hard on xDSL technology. I think demand there will be huge. I think Coms is in the best position to execute, and market to the public, industry.
The fact that Rockwell makes noise first means little, IMHO. Coms can't sit on its hands, but I'm sure they aren't. Smart would be to make sure they have major input into stardards area. But don't make too much market noise about a product thats a couple of years off when you are selling 56k now.
Modem sales are coms biggest current problem. I hope its fully in the price. Nov. quarter is gonna be below current estimates, I think. But then I think the outlook going beyond will be good. Credibly.
