Jeff: As of Friday's close longs were: APCO ARBR LAYN MLT; shorts: ANST ASYT CMOS ICST LSS PLXS SNDK SPCT. So far only one loss on a short position. Shorts that have been covered are: BIOX (+4.8%) AXYS (+6.7%) EGRP (+11.7%) ASMLF (+4.6%) ASTSF (+5.8%) HLX (-8.1%) ANEN (+10.8%) DELL (+6.8%) JBIL (+12.2%) LCOS (+12.1%) SMOD (+23.3%) SMTC (+3.3%) VECO (+25.3%) DATM (+30.5%). Current short portfolio showing a gain of +20.0%. Long portfolio hanging in there, though LAYN is very near its trailing stop.

I looked over the Stock Farmer site but was disappointed with the limited explanation and guidelines. Do I have to subscribe to find out the goodies? I did think it was very interesting how they've developed their timing system into a futures system. Makes perfect sense if the timing system works. I wonder if this could be used with the Country Baskets?

I'm interested in a joint venture for a study of the use of "puts" for the Pitbull short strategy. Henry has convinced me that it is the way to go. Interested?

John
