David: Forgive me if I misunderstand, but, you believe this to be absurd? And you still invest in it? To my mind, this way of thinking goes way past naive, it approaches dumbfounding. Mine own rational is easier, I'm a longshot player, pure and simple. Many years at the track have taught me, that if you're wrong, the next race comes along in a half hour. You can be mistaken many times, only have to be right once. (imho) As to your inference that there are many easily led amateurs here, I don't get that sense atall. Maybe our young "chicken little" started out that way, but even he has come up to speed nicely. I believe there are as many reasons as there are investors, But I also believe that the majority come into this fully aware of the risks. The nays, insure the rest are informed of the pitfalls, (real and imagined). The suits, counter suits, press releases. The fact that a bunch of amatuer investers led by a "Psychic Cop" are trying to squeeze shorts who may or may not exist only makes it a little more interesting. MInd you that RMIL represents about .01% of my portfolio." |
