>>Koan when you say; The bluffing aspect of poker makes it infinite.

could you explain what you mean here?>>

Koan: "Well, almost infinite-lol. With chess and go, a giant computer can see much further ahead than a human, so it can usually beat a human.

But say you are playing no limit. How can a computer know if you are bluffing. It does not have enough information. I hear there are computers who can beat poker players these days, but I do not know what system they are using.

Bluffing in a game is a very complicated art and very hard to teach people, but a great player like Doyle Brunson can beat 95% of the people in the world and not even look at his cards, as long as no one knew he was not looking. ""

>>and here "What that means is one cannot see what one does not understand ergo the importance of education....

How does your mind handle the fact that much myth is woven into education....?>

Koan: In a word science and the importance of science. Proofs! Imagine two people, one knows the world is roung and the other thnks the world is flat. The one who knows the world is round has a mor accurate picture of the world than the other guy.

That is why science was/is so important, no critical, to the age of enlightenment. We are all nuts and live a life of illusion. So how do we sift out the ilusion. Science.

As one gains knowledge it is just like getting a large telescope and they can see more of the universe.

The earth looks flat to us, but we know with 100% certainty that it is indeed round. That is true of so many of our ideas.

Even better, think of evolution. One looks at the forest and it makes no sense. But once you undertand evolution nature makes perfect sense. One tiny bit if undertanding mankind did not have until 1859 allowed us to undertand how and why the flora and fauna of the entire earth exists and survives.

What mental image did people have of the natural world before Driwns Origin of Species? Relativity, quantum physics.

From the earth is round and understanding of evolution you work your way up to the quantum reality-lol.

>>by way of arriving here

"The first had to find deductive and inductive logic."

When Myth is inclusive to the logics held, how does one escape?<<

On that one we agree, it is tough. Likethe natrue/nurture problem. Messy. soit does get mixed up a lot. Still logic works and is what allowed us to write the constitution, abolish slavery and segregation.

so deductive logic can be applied with a great deal of success, but can also be messy. In fact the greatest upset in history was when the great logician Godel (Einstiens best friend in old age) proved the mathematicians wrong on a very serious matter of math just using deductive logic.

As the hard scientists are a bit egotisitical and look down on the soft scientists it really pissed them off Godel had proven them all wrong without using math.

Einstin walked home with him every day and said his talks with Godel were the best parts of his day.
