So do you think centrists and liberals are FOR an escalation in Afghanistan? On that decision, I'd laugh in your face if you called Obama a liberal. He's about as bad as Bush when it comes to war. And it's particularly disappointing because he ran on a platform of getting us out of these darned wars. The press has now leaked that Obama is going to up our commitment by another 34K soldiers and that our commitment will last through 2017. That's 100K soldiers for 8 more years. That's another $800B on Afghanistan we're about to spend. Holy shit. What in God's name is the matter with our stupid leaders?
