Am still traveling but managed to get on to the internet after the computer hogs at my sister's finally hit the sack.
My suggestion for closing the contest should have been the Friday, 12/18, close (not 12/19). But I'm open to later dates. However, I think it makes sense to close it at least a few days prior to 12/31 for those who want the 2009 tax deduction. If other contestants post their preference perhaps we can reach a consensus.
