I think your wrong about end of year tax consequences affecting CPQ. I practice tax law and counsel many well off investors whose portfolios range from low seven figures to mid range eight figures. None of my clients would even consider selling CPQ becuase without exception, they have made nice profits, they seem confident in this and their other technology issues (IBM TXN DELL INTC). The only risk is that money managers might engage in some window dressing prior to end of year. But my bet is that the money managers who wanted to window dress did it this past week in the correction. My thought is that CPQ will briefly hit 67 on Monday before closing at 65.875. Tuesday we'll see a spread of 63.7 5 - 68.375 with a close of 65.125. Wed. we will see CPQ hit the 70 level and close at 68 after which point its anyone's guess. If you read this, have some guts and put your own predictions on the board in black and white for everyone to see and judge your ability to guess by.
