Agreed. Will be most interesting to see how it performs today. Rob McEwen made some interesting comments about the differences between GDXJ and the index he created a while ago. His index is a true exploration juniors index. GDXJ has too many producers to make it really representative of the sector. Puplava asked him about a fund tied to the index and that has been suggested but McEwen says that the liquidity in that market is insufficient to handle buying in size and also selling in size to accommodate redemptions. So it seems like vehicles like Pinetree or Endeavour are still among the few ways that an investor can buy a managed basket of exploration stocks.
