When I got up this AM, Hubby said that Caesar had had a minifit downstairs...we bought two new little rugs with little small shag...royal navy blue. Thought we were smart and our toes would like it if we were by the kitchen sink. Well, Hubby wasn't just a 'woofing'....and he didn't pick the mess up...guess he thought it would be 'cute' for me to see what CZ had done.... There were at least 5,000 little threads torn out of the rug...and scattered all over the place...He had scratched and scratched...and had a High Ole Time for himself. We have little rugs in several places, and only one other has he treated this way. Must think it's some kind of enemy or something. I bawled him out, and put a scowly face on, but he just stood there looking at me while I cleaned up his mess. Sorta like a naughty kid. He even attempted a couple of times to go scatter the pile of stuff I was sweeping up. I got pretty huffy with him, but really it was like seeing something a little kid had done, and having to look mad, but secretly laughing to myself. I think he knows that too...
