Don't worry Mish, if Doom and Gloom keeps bread on your table, and your "1.6 million hits" (not the first time you have stroked your ego) you gotta do what you gotta do.
We understand.

On the other hand, some of us have a fiduciary duty to explore all points.

Never have I said my "base case" was a "V" shaped recovery, I said that if the markets can sustain the current levels, then indeed we will HAVE a V shape recovery.

But my base case is that it's slow and grinding style market without liquidity like the 70's. I know you saw that post multiple times, but in your bid to keep your 1.6 million hits, you selectively excluded that.

I think housing in gateway cities is an excellent buy because we are in global recovery, not sure where that changed? It may not be a good buy in the honkey tonk village you live in, but it's now a local phenom as opposed to some macro call.

It's not always about the stock market. Global growth was good in the 90's too, but global equities underperformed U.S. It's all about money flows. Maybe you don't understand the dichotomy?

I could also say I oversee several billion in institutional assets or speak to the best macro strategists every week, but I don't...
