Has science confirmed that his theories account for the origin of all species?

Or for that matter that undirected random processes have?

I think not.

AS for Mendel, the same is true... if his work hadn't been repeated and his overal theory shown to be pretty much right on...

Now that has happened. Moreover, discovery of DNA confirmed how what he found worked.
