As for the Stock Farmer, actually, I'm the "friend who has no prior knowlege but mastered the obvious." My interest in futures spilled over into their effort to perfect the CANSLIM "M" indicator which used to guide their stock selection efforts.

The entire source code for Omega Trade Station used to be posted on the site. But once they started moving toward running money, I suggested that they should not be giving it away. It's too good.

The NasBar system is quite a bit more complicated than the simple "M" indicator. The "M" direction is really nothing more than O'Neill's Chapter 7. Blue bar is a bottom signal, purple bar is a follow through, and red bar is distribution. It's really simple if you understand O'Neill's system.

There is no subscription service, however. Whatever you don't understand, you'll have to try picking my brain. I understand it reasonably well. I will pass on your disappointment to the Farmer. Tell me more about what you would need to see in order to get a good feel for the system, and I'll relate it to Phil Lane. Your not the first person I've directed to the site that has had trouble getting excited about it. I'm pretty close to it, but more objective than the Farmers.

What's a Country Basket? Some collection of stocks? I think you'd have a better time of it with index options or big leaders like INTC used to be.
