The key is that all dangers from these drugs are clearly spelled out, and people at risk, particularly adolescents, are discouraged from trying them. It's very irresponsible to say to an adolescent "marijuana is much less dangerous than alcohol", particularly if that adolescent has a family history of schizophrenia or bipolar.
