I don't get this - isn't it legal for first cousins to marry in most states?

Just when you thought The New York Times might run out of society's "vic tims" to cry over, Thursday's Home sec tion struck a new level of yuck. Under the headline "Shaking Off the Shame," the paper sympatheti cally told the story of a Pennsylvania couple who married despite being first cousins. Wifey calls hubby "cus band," and they hope to have a baby. Aw, how sweet. And creepy.
