Not a BP scientist but technical marketing areas which included R&D. I didn't do the actual donkey work of R&D in the labs and engine compartments. I was part of deciding what to do, supervising R&D, advising on market strategies and the like. That was centuries ago so my information is dated. Engines and fuels are different these days. Not to mention regulations. Mqurice
