He wasn't last time, either -- and he did remarkably well for a first-time candidate.

In retrospect, the idiots in the R. party shot themselves in the foot by opposing him. By doing so, they put McCain the race against Obama, where he was promptly trounced.

Huckabee would not have been trounced. I don't believe Obama could have beaten him. It is possible, but I believe Huck's public speaking ability is far better than Obama's and he comes across as honest and forthright, where Obama is clearly a snake-oil salesman.

We'll never know, but the conservatives like Krauthammer and Limbaugh probably caused the election to go to the Ds.
