It is a 5 1/4" docking bay (SCSI or IDE) with a removable container which can hold any 3 1/2" hard drive.< Edwin, how is the IDE connect handled? Do you have to add another card or do you route one of the mother board channels out of the box? How about the tight cable lenght spec for IDE? Sounds neat for a confirmed technoid solution, but the vaguries of extending a bus (at least non-SCSI) out of the box may be problematic for some. Also, it doesn't sound too robust to me. Swapping standard hard drives does have risks. With this said I may check this out since it could be a nice setup for some of my development and test systems.
