Funny thing is that you believe the crap that comes from some ftp site containing hacked (=adulterated) e-mails by some name-less faceless hackers! Meanwhile the CRU scientists are professionals, with names and faces, with reputations to defend.

It's completely irrelevant how the information was obtained. If somebody murdered a million babies to get the information, it doesn't affect whether the information is valid or not or what can be concluded from the information.

There might be a separate case regarding the source of the information, but that's irrelevant and trivial to the issue at hand. Apparently the information was simply made available for public access [unintentionally, but clicking and finding it is not hacking and even if it was illegal, too bad - I couldn't care less].
