"Intel's inability to control pricing is now perfectly evident.

If they are faced with these cheap low end systems for the forseeable future then I expect (a)downward revisions in 1998 expected earnings (b) a potential Intel preannounce like the one that moved the stock down 20 to 30 points earlier this year.

Its not a pretty picture."

Paul,

Earlier, when Paul Engel said you shorted at 69, I thought he was just poking fun at you.

Now, based on your comments I wonder if it was true?

Did you short then?

Are you just trying to "talk" the stock down to cover?

What other motivation could/do you have to say the things you say?

I would like to better understand where you are coming from.

By the way, my perception is that Paul Engel and Jules have tremendous insight and a huge amount to offer the rest of us. If you you were successf in running either of them off, I don't think you would be making any friends or followers. The main reason I am here is to read their posts....now I'm offering you the oportunity to say what you stand for besides gloom and doom and possible covering a short sale.

Mary Cluney did a pretty good job of painting the big picture....the word is changing and Intel is out in front.

thank you

Lee

Filling out your profile might add a little credibility also.
