I haven't owned Dell for a few years, but to be fair........I have purchased over 30 Dell's for myself and clients and have had positive experience with support.

On a Precision T3400 with Gold support recently the English speaking tech was knowledgeable and helpful. Stayed on the line with a blue screen issue reviewed my system and solved the problem. Taking advantage of the call I asked about several other issues which he kindly addressed and offered help.

I recently bought a Lattitude that on arrival had a dead WiFi card. Next day they sent a tech to replace the card. A month later my touchpad became erratic, and I became concerned about the build. I requested a return after 2 months and within a few days they sent be a UPS label and credited my account. How much more could I expect from any computer tech support. I am still a Dell fan, but still don't want to own the stock.
