I sure hope there is some endgame planned for Afghanistan. This Obama stuff probably beats what McCain would have done- but I wish we didn't have to wait for 2011 for the exit. I'd like to pull everyone out now. I don't think we can actually really accomplish anything, and I never have- I never thought Bush could do much (and I wish to Hell we'd never gone in), or McCain, or Obama- that territory is just a waste of space until its own people decide they need a responsible government. I don't see the US imposing one. So all this blabber people make about "getting the job done" sounds like so much hooey to me. What job? When would it be done? There IS no realistic job we can do, and it won't ever be done. Pull out- let them all freaking kill each other, and concentrate on keeping them out of the US.
