My message to Mary was simple as it is to all Longs
that are showing a 100% profit level.

PUT THE MONEY IN YOUR POCKET!!!

================================

Making a 100% profit is great, but what does that have to do with the current value of the stock? That does not indicate it is overvalued or undervalued. Earnings were previously better than anticipated and the stock went up. Doesn't mean its overvalued now. But selling means paying taxes (if outside of an IRA) and therefor less money to buy back in with!

Isn't Intel currently at a p/e of about 19, yet it has a projected growth rate of about 20%? Why is that overvalued?

If you have fundamental analysis that shows that it is overvalued, I would love to see and I would act on it.

But if you are basing your arguement and technical analysis and trading ranges, I think it is empty.

"I believe the stock has a ways to go on the downside short term based on THursday and Friday's trading but it is unlikely to go all the way its going to go before those announcements I mentioned."

How can you base the value of a stock on Thursday and Fridays trading? Many, many studies have shown there is no future, redictive value in "yesterdays" prices. Technical Analysis does NOT pay for the cost of trading. All known information is priced in the stock already. Yesterdays prices don't matter. Future changes do matter, such as R&D break throughs, unexpected sales growth, New unexpected announcements.

Thats why Jules and Paul have so much to offer. Go back and read their analysis on the DEC settlement. They forsaw that before it was announced! Do you realize the value in that kind of ability? Kurlac or whatever his name is should be paying them!
