I applied for Ameritrade as a new account and sent in my check ten days ago. I have got my initial package but without the internet
trading password yet. I have to try transferring my account from
Datek but I would like to wait and watch before I do it.

In terms of processing new application and crediting initial equity
, Datek was quite efficient..
