That someone is going to "follow us home"????????? (You think it's hard to find America on a map?) Anyway, it's arguably already worse then Vietnam (or, at least approaching that range) if we consider the total costs of both wars. We are already past (in real, inflation-adjusted terms) above the cost of the Vietnam War, and - looking just at Afghanistan - we are already past the LENGTH of the entire war....
