Ask the Pakistani government. They're the ones who failed to deal with the issue and now are facing an insurgency of their own.

True, but we are doing there is killing more innocent Afghanis.

And what are the Taliban doing to an EVEN GREATER degreee? Unfortunately people die in war. You don't need to tell an Afghani about that. They've been at war for over 30 years now. They are a society, the majority of which are young people, who have known NOTHING BUT WAR for most of their lives.

So it takes a lot of balls for someone like you to suddenly show concern for "innocent lives" when so many of them have been lost LONG BEFORE the US ever got involved in the region.

That was then, not now. We are fighting an Asymmetric war.

Nothing more chaotic than an Asymmetric war where your conventional strategy is OBE and you suddenly have to think out of the box, and at a tactical level.
