While that sort of discovery about MS/neck veins warrants further study, in my opinion, it's very doubtful that it would explain how in darker climes, e.g. the Pacific Northwest and Scandinavia, the rate of MS is 2x elsewhere (roughly). The more recent link to Vitamin D seems more fitting in that regard.

It's also possible that MS causes the symptom observed by Zamboni.

It would be terrific if there were a surgical cure for MS though. Ditto Parkinson's, Fragile X, and a host of others.
