Note on today's CC from Yahoo, stock looked very strong today at 16.48, up 4.7%, on over 15m shares:

STX expects 10-12% growth in 2010, 15% or higher growth is projected by some.

October and November were strong and December so far looks encouraging.

Factories are constrained.

Expect industry inventories to be lower at end of this quarter than they were at the beginning.

Pricing remains flat.

STX raising capital spending by $200 M to $650 M in 2010, adeded capacity should not be on line until late in year.

Perhaps the best news is that if December remains strong, due to low inventories, the March quarter sales could be flat rather than down the typical 5%.

Overall, I got the impression that STX is waiting to see how December goes before sticking it's neck out any further.
