Its pretty simple Shepard. A god who is not the Creator of the Universe is not an Omnipotent, Omniscient God (The western idea of God, which is the context of your discussion with Brumar). A god who is not the creator, would have to be a lesser sort of god, one is a created thing like a wimpy stone, or the sun or something. Everyone claiming to believe in the Western idea of God, believes the underlying premise of creation. It's definitional.

Creationism and Creator typically are not used interchangeably. God may well have been the Creator of the universe and earth but its highly unlikely he did it in the way that Creationism suggests.
