I bought a case each of 2000 Pontet-Canet, Lascombes, and Pipeau. (when the futures were offered, 2000 was the vintage of the century, nobody knew it would be followed by about three more such vintages in this decade). They are still undrinkable IMO, probably need at least a couple more years. Parker agrees, recently labeling the vintage "still tannic, youthful, or slow to mature." erobertparker.com Unless you have a signficant storage capacity, it's a pain to store these things for a decade.
