Just because he told us that during the campaign doesn't make this war any less idiotic. Is the military holding a gun to his head, I dunno. I do know it's gonna cost us dearly & accomplish exactly what Bin Laden wanted...and for that matter, what the Rs want also, to empty the government's purse for social services. 18 months? Yeah, and the tooth fairy keeps a calendar.
