ROTFLMAO! What spin! The hot temperatures quoted there in the 30's were for the Continental USA. The current database of concern is for the Planet Earth. This is a different dataset. NASA snd NOAA are the keepers of the USA portion of the global database, you dumbass. They were in no way as confused as you are.
