Patrick <If a company says they intend to buyback 100 million dollars
of stock, it is a bullish stance.> Most of the time yes, but I apparently don't believe in the honesty of corporate leaderships as much as some... Playing devil's advocate on why a company would "buyback 100 million dollars of stock"... could be to temporaily boost the price to sell calls, or boost the price to let someone exercise options, or a host of other less than shiny motives.
