A much better than expected jobs number for November (-11,000). Hopefully, this will make it a bit more politically difficult to jam through a jobs program before we get more data. The trend in jobs has been positive and we still have nearly $400 billion from the first stimulus to be spent. It makes far more sense to take a few months to see where the economy is headed than to pass something that might be politically good and economically bad. Slacker
