He started out with the stimulus and hasn't just let jobs issues left untended. there was rather the uproar in '93 when Bill set Hillary in charge of healthcare and also that the white house was writing the bill, Obama has put the congress to work to do what is its job. and healthcare reform is entwined with the economy working better.

and working on other things has gone well in the depts that are supposed to do them... enviroment, fda, homeland security (they've for one thing done some positives re immigration issues).

as to deciding on what to do re Afghanistan, that was left to fester for 8 years and here we are. it was time to stop and deal with it and in a careful manner, imo.

Chinu, you are the one who talked to me about relaxing on some other issues and giving him room to deal with healthcare. and I needed the tweek. :)
