They'll have to learn to stand on their own feet at *some point*.

Else they will be a CONTINUOUS DRAIN on the American taxpayers ad infinitum. (Been over nine years, after all....)

And, anyway, there can be nothing remotely resembling a 'win' until and unless the problem are solved across the border in PAKISTAN where the Taliban was founded in 1988, and where al Qaeda has sheltered and plotted for it's entire existence, too.
