Vi, Rarebird banned me from the Philosophical Porch for writing the following to you:

"In the United States, the inflation came after the war ended. Price controls and rationing had suppressed it during the war, when there were also very high savings rates. But between about 1946 and 1948 prices made a big jump."

That's the only ban I have received in several years.
