To All,
I have been a lurker for a year or so, and am long IPM as I enjoy taking an occasional flyer with excess cash not earmarked for safer stodgier investments. I don't understand the backbiting and name calling that goes on this newsgroup from both sides of the coin. First, IPM is an EXPLORATORY company. Of course it may go belly up, as its a long shot, but if successful, will reward its shareholders handsomely. No one in their right mind would put their life savings in a company like this, not because its a scam, its just not sound investment practice. If it is a scam, we won't know until its over. If mutual funds and pension companies can be duped, do you really think the drivel expounded on this group will enlighten you?
I think all would be better served by toning down the hysteria. Cheerleaders who refuse to consider negative results are just as narrow minded as those who think the whole world is "salted" and every exploratory company engages in conspiracies. If you hold such a position in this company that you can't stand another point of view, lighten up your portfolio until you can sleep and ignore the ridiculous hype that goes on here, pro and con. It's really sad, a year or so ago, this was an interesting group.
