Feel good thoughts about the common good have left us with medicare which has major financial problems looming. I like the idea of making sure we dont have to worry about paying directly for our elders. How about when the government figures out how to manage medicare they extend "affordable which means someone else pays" health care to others? Presently it appears some are hoping to load it on younger people which is especially cruel since the Boomers want what they never were willing to pay for.
