Seems to me we have to have new broad taxes dedicated to debt reduction, coupled with serious reductions in government while reducing the load on the productive sector. O that we could have leadership that could dispel the notion that corporations pay taxes. We have an electorate happily tolerating politicians with the moral values of $3 hookers -- all infected with unpleasant diseases. RR was able to temporarily capitalize on the insights Laffer revived. Incentives are such that successors couldn't stay within reasonable Jersey barriers. Our chillun and theirs done been scrod. Us old boogers gonna get hurt. More. Too. Shucks Durned, not to mention OH SHIT!!
