TGIF Thomas!

Well that is music to my ears :-) As a wine lover who wouldn't consider myself particularly knowledgeable on the subject, yet eager to learn more, my experiences sampling those $75-$100 bottles have been few and far between - a couple of trips to the Napa region, San Fran, Sun Valley and Tahoe, a few special family occasions..........they all tended to leave me thinking something along the the lines of "why in the hell did I just spend that much on a bottle of wine??!!"

I tend to be "tight", lol, that's why I lurk this thread.............I'm all about good values!! Just had to make an appearance here to spark some conversation a bit ago :-)

I'm still waiting for you wine experts to tell me which wines have notes of licorice or anise. I tried my first Ouzo this past Summer for the same reasons - wow, now that is licorice!
