Koan <Franken has been low key> Franken is like Barney Frank...tons of gray matter and loves to brawl and is facile at debate. Most of those Republican dopes will be reluctant to take him on face to face but they know they'll get their joke handed to them. It's great to see some liberals back in the fray who can throw a punch. Unfortunately, a lot of democrats have allowed themselves to be intimidated by the Republican bullying of the last 8 years. Sometimes it's very difficult to have a debate with someone who is forceful, but at the same time moronic. Franken is a guy who can handle that skillfully as does Frank. Russ Feingold is another guy with a spine...he doesn't have the skill of close-in combat debate, but is a strong guy with a solid moral center. Being from Minnesota, Paul Wellstone was someone I also admired. These guys are important to stare down the idiots, and make sure a real discourse takes place in the Senate. Altair19
