Every industry has fraudsters. In science, there have always been the unscrupulous who manipulate their data for personal gain. However, science has proven time and again that it is the best method to advance human civilization. You can choose to turn your back on it and embrace conspiracy theories. However, I choose to continue to think rationally and embrace science. This is the problem with religious fanaticism within the GOP. The GOP has engaged in the dumbing down of America and the evangelization of things like Creationism. GOP members have decided that science is evil and lumped it in with "the enemy". Seems like you are going down that path. Good luck with that.
