Steve.....I've been working w/ Mark Randazzo...35-1, anyways, he was Holyfields #1 sparring partner up to the Tyson fights, of course Holy's workin' w/ lefties gettin' ready for Moorer....Marks' take is more insightful than mine.......He says that 'pre-fight/training' Holy is a basket-case, meaning, a nervous type fighter...he starts out slow in camp, doesn't like 'strong' sparring partners , and is a sucker for the 'slide-right', BUT! like any champion, gets it together for the big-one. To me, Holys' got it all, Heart, great defensive fighter and is ALWAYS in shape to fight. He's got trouble w/ lefties though (Who doesn't?)..but , to me, Moorer has no heart, it appears he doesn't want to fight, thats' why Teddy Atlas left, also, I had a fighter on the Foreman/Moorer card, Foreman was able to sucker Moorer into the phone booth, Holys' aware of that, also Holy had alot of trouble with Moorer the first time (leftie)...my moneys' on Holy, may go the distance, might be close, but if Holy could adapt to Tyson, I'm sure he'll get it together for a leftie!, Sorry about the off-topic, Pugs |
