She strung together loads of cliches and hand-wringing. [Julie Packard]. None of it true. For example, the shellfish aren't dissolving. The oceans aren't acidic. Fish are being depleted by huge fishing expeditions, not by oceans cooking fish.

Killing great white sharks and killer whales would save a lot of livestock.

The poor little hector's dolphin for example is nearly extinct and killer whales swallow them like M&Ms if the great whites don't get them first. Grey whales a terrified and attacked for their tongues, being left to die a hideous death, tongueless. Other whales beach themselves rather than be eaten by killer whales. The idea that whales don't know they'll get stranded is ridiculous. Their navigation systems are not bung.

A gang of murderous killer whales must be a terrifying sight to anything in the ocean which tastes faintly delicious to them. They are smart and work in a team - as humans have proven, that's a winning combination.
